Did you know that only less than 0.00002% of people who ever lived on this planet have stepped on Antarctica?
Here’s the math: conservatively, around 25,000 tourists visit Antarctica each year since the 1950s, and an average of 10,000 individuals (scientists, explorers, military, sailors whale hunters, etc) have traveled to Antarctica each year since the beginning of last century. Also, recent estimates of the total number of people who ever lived are in the order of 108 billion humans.
Given that I was one of the lucky ones, I decided to bring you back with me. Here's a day-to-day journal of 12 days spent on one of the most spectacular locations of our planet.
